Physical Science
Students study the properties of matter from learning about atoms, bonds, chemical and physical changes, chemical reactions and equations to laws of motion and conservation of energy. Students will be completing a series of projects that reflect each facet of physical science learned throughout the school year.
Life Science
Students study the characteristics of life starting with the parts of the cell and moving up through the evolutionary ladder from simple organisms to more complex animals and body systems.
Earth Science
Students learn about astronomy and our place in the universe as well as investigating different aspects of earth itself.
Ms. SkubisGraduated from UW-Whitewater with a BSE in General Biology and minor in Sociology. Has taught at St. Mary's for 10+ years both full time and now part-time. Teaches a summer school science class - this year's title "Make it Messy!" Is also a part-time Realtor and a member of Janesville Area Rental Property Association.
